Old Pine Red is not your Dad's red ale, but it is exactly what you'd expect from us. It's been hopped generously with Columbus and Amarillo in the kettle and an additional hit of Citra, Simcoe and Canadian Chinook from @myrtlemeadowshops in the dry hop. The malt provides a base of graham cracker and some slightly sweet honey notes. On the sip, the hops really shine. Balanced bitterness hits first with notes of pine and citrus giving way to subtle cedar mixed with sweet field berries. The finish is the best part with a perfectly dry, lingering bitterness begging you to take another sip.
