On August 12, 2021, Town Brewery collaborated with Link Up; an initiative dedicated to connecting talented and passionate individuals from underrepresented communities to opportunities within the craft beer industry.
Link Up is led by Microbrasseerie 5e Baron and the BAOS podcast. Their mission is to ensure the future of the brewing industry becomes a more diverse, inclusive space. Link Up will provide training, work experience, financial resources and hands on work for BIPOC applicants.
From day one, our goal as a brewery has always been to strengthen the community around us by making great beer without compromising our values. We share a vision with Link Up of creating an inclusive space for everyone that walks through our doors, and so we were thrilled when presented with the opportunity to participate in this initiative.
The resulting brew collaboration brew, Link Up IPA, is bold, beautiful and bright. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Vic Secret, it explodes with pronounced flavours of pineapple, passionfruit, orange zest and pine. Proceeds from the sales of Link Up IPA go towards Link Up’s mission to provide training, financial resources and work experience for BIPOC applicants to meaningfully participate in the industry as fans, workers and owners.
