There are some rad businesses in Whitby and one of the perks of our job is that we get to know, hang out with, and collaborate with lots of them. This beer is a result of one of these collaborations. Crave Doughnuts started the same month that we did, November 2017, and they've been on a tear ever since. It's not the first time we've gotten together with them, in the early days we hosted them at the brewery for pop-ups and at the beginning of this year we made our first beer. Since then, we've been talking about doing a stout together based on one of their delicious doughnuts...
Aptly named Crave, this beer is a Caramel Coconut Doughnut Stout. The name really says it all when it comes to flavour profile. We threw a boat load of doughnuts in the mash, but fear not good vegans - this beer and the doughnut it is based around is safe for your consumption!
